First LEGO League

On February 7, 40 teams from across South Florida gathered for the First LEGO League Regional Competition at Palm Beach State College. The event brought together young innovators ready to tackle real-life challenges through robotics, research, and community while competing for a coveted spot at the state championship.

The competition showed more than just impressive LEGO robots. Students were able to demonstrate their critical thinking, coding expertise, engineering design, and problem-solving skills through building and teamwork. From designing and programming autonomous robots to presenting well researched solutions to judges, participants gained the necessary experience to prepare them for future STEM careers.

Infinity Insurance Agency, Inc. (IIA) proudly served as a Field Master Builder Sponsor for the event, reinforcing our commitment to supporting innovation and education for young minds. By investing in programs like the First LEGO League, IIA is ready to nurture the next generation of engineers, programmers, and creative thinkers.

IIA also supported three Florida schools through the “Brick Lover” packages with First LEGO League. These packages include full LEGO robotics kits and official challenge materials for two consecutive seasons. This support helps students have immediate access to the tools they need to dive into robotics learning. IIA is dedicated to removing financial barriers so students can continue their engineering experience and firsthand education.

At IIA, community involvement goes beyond auto insurance.
